Gerard Butler spent four months of hardcore training to transform himself into King Leonidas in 300. With the help of world-class mountain climber Mark Twight, Butler underwent the “300-rep Spartan Workout,” which consisted of 25 pull-ups, 50 deadlifts with 135 pounds, 50 push ups, 50 jumps on a 24-inch box, 50 floor wipers, 50 single-arm clean-and-presses using a 36-pound kettlebell and 25 more pull-ups without in-between breaks…among other exercises. Basically Butler worked out every day till he puked.
