They say a person’s final words before dying can tell a lot about the life that they lived. Last words have also been regarded as some of the truest words since the person has nothing to lose. But in today’s day and age, last words aren’t always spoken. Sometimes, they’re tweeted. While we may not know the last words these people uttered before they died, their infamous last tweets will have you tweeting as if every tweet were your last.
1. Be careful how you #YOLO.
Aspiring Southern California rapper Ervin McKinness (a.k.a. Inkyy) was partying it up with friends in Ontario during Labor Day weekend of 2012. The 21-year-old rapper, tweeted about driving drunk at 120 mph minutes before dying in a fiery one-car crash along with four other friends:
McKinness’s tweet was ironically hashtagged with YOLO, an acronym for “you only live once”.
